The Volcat 43 stands out from other power catamarans with its exceptional design and functionality. It is the first power catamaran to bring all functional systems together in one boat. One of its standout features is a private garage that can accommodate a 3-meter daily boat, providing owners with the convenience of having their own tender on board. This spacious and comfortable yacht offers living spaces that are unmatched in any boat of its class.
The Volcat 43 is built using state-of-the-art technology. The body molds are produced with a robotic system by Hexagon Studio, ensuring world-class standards and zero mistakes. Equipped with the Volvo IPS-600 engine, the Volcat 43 provides up to 25% fuel savings compared to other boats, making it environmentally friendly with up to 39% less fuel emissions. Its propellers can be rotated 360 degrees with joystick control, offering balanced and easy maneuverability in all directions.
Technical specifications of the Volcat 43 include a semi-displacement catamaran hull, a full length of 12.95 meters, a full width of 6.20 meters, and a draft of 0.88 meters. The yacht has an empty displacement of 15 tons and a full displacement of 21.5 tons. With a speed of 26 knots and two Volvo IPS 600 engines with a total power of 880 horsepower, the Volcat 43 offers a range of 1000 nautical miles. It features a standard version with one master cabin, one bathroom, and two double cabins with one bathroom, as well as a charter version with four double cabins and two bathrooms.
The design and engineering of the Volcat 43 were led by Baran Akalin and Adal Design, respectively. The yacht's functional and innovative design is a result of extensive research and creative problem-solving. Overcoming challenges such as integrating maximum functionality and a special garage in a 12-meter motor yacht, the Volcat 43 successfully combines practicality with aesthetics.
The Volcat 43 is currently under construction in Istanbul, with the design project starting in April 2021 and production scheduled to be completed by September 2022. This groundbreaking power catamaran has already been recognized for its excellence, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Yacht and Marine Vessels Design category in 2022.
With its futuristic design, innovative features, and commitment to sustainability, the Volant Yacht-Volcat 43 is set to redefine the world of power catamarans. It offers a unique and luxurious experience for yacht owners who value both style and functionality.
